"Ann-Margret Olsson was born April 28, 1941, in Stockholm, Sweden. Within a short time after her birth, her parents relocated back to their hometown of Jamtland, which is a tiny arctic town located in northern central Sweden. She described the province of Jamtland as one of the smallest farming and lumberjacking community. She was born in Chicago suburbs and was granted citizenship in 1949 by her father.
